I Want the Gold American Express Card More Than Anything

Sometimes, financial goals are small and dumb, and that’s what makes it fun

I have a hard-on for credit cards.

Once I graduated from high school, I became excited about my financial possibilities. I started investing in stocks and learning more about the rewards a credit card can offer.

Nowadays, most cards are about the same. They have different names and different looks, but they all offer between 1–4% cashback on purchases, discounted ways to spend that cashback, and some sort of welcome bonus (spend $2,000 in three months and get $200, for example).

There are tiers to credit cards, however, for the higher spenders out there.

One of the cooler lines out there is presented by American Express.

American Express has a lot of useful cards. One of my first and most used cards to this point has been the Blue Cash Everyday card. I have since retired this card, but it has done a lot for me.

My next goal is the beautiful Gold American Express card.
