How ‘Good Good’ Grew Into an Unstoppable Golf Empire

Golf became cool in 2020.

I’m sorry if you were into it before then. It’s clear we were missing out.

Most of us grow up hearing about how golf is an old man’s game; a game where the richest man has the best shot at success and anyone that can’t afford to get into a country club probably shouldn’t bother.

It’s a game with a high barrier to entry, and for that reason, many don’t even give it a shot.

But during the pandemic, when almost every sporting league locked the doors to their arenas and locker rooms, golf stuck around.

It’s an individual’s game with plenty of distance between players. It’s outside in Mother Nature’s cleanly-filtered air. It’s a game that can be played in any condition, including a worldwide lockdown.

So, we stayed inside and watched golf. We didn’t like golf before and saw no reason to give it a try.

But with no other live competition available for our viewing pleasure, we flocked to the Golf Channel and never looked back.
