I recently lost about 20 pounds.
I started intermittent fasting again — a strategy that has helped me lose weight on numerous occasions.
It can be a scary road to go down, overhauling your eating schedule and telling your body it doesn’t need food right now.
But once you go down it, you realize just how easy it can be to give up on some of your favorite things — or, better yet, just put off enjoying them for a little while.
It’s important to enjoy things in life. Hot take, right? We deserve to be happy!
But there is a line between enjoyment and gluttony — and too many cross the line in today’s comfortable world.
We have easily accessible food, drugs, and sex. We are barely constricted by anyone.
Therefore, we have to constrict ourselves.
Many don’t want to constrict themselves. Why stop when there is so much of it?
A better life awaits — and it’s on the other side of self-discipline.
Don’t delete — just delay
The beauty of intermittent fasting is that you are not dieting. You are simply pushing back when you eat.
